In every city in Arabia, the call-to-prayer is done differently. Turkey has the loudest call-to-prayer that we've heard so far, but they were also the most creative. From our vacation rental in Nazlet a-Sammam that we stayed in on our 2014 trip to Egypt we could hear the call to prayer (or adhan) in Cairo. Calls to prayer vary from country to country. In Tunisia, we almost never heard the call to prayer, and had to strain to hear it even in Tunis.
