We visited Rome, Italy and the Roman Forum in November 2014 on our way between London and Tunis, Tunisia. It was a neat place to see in-the-flesh, but there were so many other tourists there it was hard to enjoy it. Lesser-known tourist attractions are often more fun than the most famous ones for this reason.Related Posts:

Yesterday, we took a Trenitalia train from Rome to Venice. I had been looking forward to seeing the Italian countryside. I’d envisioned roomy seats and a glorious view of whatever Italy had to offer.
