The Guanajuato tunnel system is extensive and on this trip between Marfil and Embajadoras, we a lot of the ride underground. At the front of the bus is a crucifix and two Jesus plaque featuring an LED light display. It’s not the first one of these that I’ve seen here in Guanajuato.
Jace, a 14 year old from Nebraska, had been tasked to find his way from Marfil, a community on the outskirts of Guanajuato, to Embajadoras, a neighborhood where his new Spanish language school was located. Unfortunately, once the bus descended into the tunnels it was almost impossible for him to tell where he was located in the city.
