People bathed enthusiastically in the toxic waters of the Ganges River in Varanasi, India. They were totally convinced that it was safe and in fact, that the river is holy and confers healing benefits. We didn’t ever take a dip in the water to try it, but it must work for some people. Many of these people seemed very happy to be there.
