Things to Do in Beijing: The Beijing Subway Part IV

When we arrived in Beijing, we wanted to find our own way without taking a guide with us or having a driver from the hotel drive us all over the city. On our first day there, we thought about taking a taxi  or a tuk tuk, but ended up on the subway. As it turns out, the subway in Beijing is really easy to use as long as you’re comfortable standing really close to other people. We used the Puhuangyu Station every day to get around the city, accessing buses further afield to go to places like the Great Wall at Badaling or Tanzhe Temple.
