Driving in Mexico: Guanajuato State Part I

Wanna drive from Tijuana to Mexico City? You can do it! We drove from Tijuana to Guanajuato (about 3 to 4 hours north of Mexico City) in January 2017. It was a long drive, but it was uneventful and easy except for a few large pot holes. As of the time of this posting, we’ve never driven the highways between Mexico City and Guanajuato City, but we have taken the Primera Plus bus line and the ride was smooth and uneventful both ways.
