Traditional Mexican Songs on Guitar: Lydian Learns New Music with the Profe Part I

Learning the new songs for the estudiantina set list isn’t easy. The Profe doesn’t speak any English and when he teaches Lydian new songs, he talks with her about the key using a different system that goes off of “do, re, mi, fa, so, etc.”. On top of the that the strumming patterns are different for playing Mexican guitar. This lesson took place in a bar off Callejon del Beso in Guanajuato.
