The gazebo overlooking the labyrinth near the Old Summer Palace (Yuan Ming Yuan).
It was more fun to watch the labyrinth, with all the little heads bobbing up and down, than to go through it ourselves since the walks were too short to make it suspenseful for us.

Ruins at Yuan Ming Yuan Park.
We spent most of our day looking for these ruins, seeing them beyond fences, while we were unable to get to them.

The whole Yuan Ming Yuan complex was like a labyrinth, but at the end of our visit was a REAL labyrinth.

Lost, lost, lost…
Yuan Ming Yuan was a confusing place. We searched and searched for these ruins, but kept running into fences that kept us out.
Even though we were lost for most of our visit to Yuan Ming Yuan, it was a lot fun to go and try to figure out how to get to the ruins.
