Costa Rica Tourism: Boat Trip to Tortuguero Part II

Tortuguero is a tiny village in Costa Rica located on the Caribbean coast. Although the trip getting there was a little arduous, Tortuguero was a fascinating place that made the journey worth it! The culture in Tortuguero was completely different from the rest of Costa Rica. While we were there we went out in the middle of the night to watch sea turtles nesting on the beach and wandered around the village. Even without the turtle-watching excursion, Tortuguero was an interesting place to hang out in. We’d like to go back someday to spend more time there!
