Mcleodganj: Hike from Naddi Village to Dharamkot

This video chronicles our afternoon hike from Naddi Village toward Dharamkot near Mcleodganj. We visited Mcleodganj during the monsoon season so we didn’t feel like it would be wise to do a full-day hike in the heavy rains that always started around mid-afternoon. This half-day trek was really cool though. We started near Dal Lake and ended at a clearing with lots of prayer flags and rock piles. We passed a monk and an old dog followed us back to the village. Of course, things didn’t start well with all the sewage pipes, but you have to overlook things like that in India.
