Egypt Tourism: Inside the Pyramids

During our 2014 visit to Egypt, we were able to go inside two of the Pyramids of Giza. In order to preserve the Egyptian pyramids, only 200-300 visitors are allowed to go inside the pyramids per day. And, visitors are only allowed to go inside of two, since restoration projects are ongoing and run on a cycle. Since there were so few tourists in Cairo when we visited the Pyramids, we were lucky enough to go inside and see the inside of the pyramids without many other people around.
